Device:  Argent, a chevron cotised sable between three mullets gules

Areas of expertise/types of classes you have taught/things you are learning now:  Wouldn't call them expertises, but I make homebrew beer and I do some Book Heraldry

Device: Don't know the official blazon (William! Help!), but it's chevrons white and green, with an 8-pointed star alternately straight and wavy arms in black

Awards you have received: In Meridies, Dragon's Flame, Meridian Cross, OVO, Argent Comet, GoA

Areas of expertise/types of classes you have taught/things you are learning now: Bobbin lace all levels, cooking and feast organization, research methods, Italian Renaissance literature, Italian Ren garb, fan making, intro to the SCA, basic garb making (t-tunics, anything with a rectangle), persona development

Persona: 10th century Welshman live just across the English border as a matter of political expediency.

Mundane Name: Buck Marchinton

Mundane location: Waynesboro, GA

Years in the SCA: 24ish

Areas of expertise  Early period history (pre-mid-11th century), poetry (specifically early period), bread making.
Willing to teach any of the above.

General mundane location: Waynesboro, GA

Awards you have received: AoA, Meridian Cross, OVO, GoA, assorted A&S competitions

Areas of expertise/types of classes you have taught/things you are learning now: Lots of textile related things: tablet weaving, loom weaving, dying, spinning, some hand sewing (buttons, buttonholes, eyelets, seam finishes), Nålbinding (ancient viking "knitting"), Viking fingerloop braiding, raising silkworms, processing silk cocoons, spinning silk and weaving silk.  I also sew and pattern Viking garb, Italian garb, linen rapier armor and I am learning about Russian garb. I am also researching and re-creating Viking textile production tools.

SCA Name: Lord Bhrian mac Grioghair (pronounced BrE-an mac Gregor), aka Brian mac Grioghair or Brian MacGregor.  

SCA Persona:  Early 16th century Scotsman.  Oakum, tar, & pitch merchant with occasional excursions to the Lithuanian Baltic coast.  

Mundane Name: Brian Greer

General mundane location: Statesboro, land of wonder

Years in the SCA: Barony of South Downs (1982) and Shire of Drakenmere (2005-present).  Total = 7 years

Device: I have been left to my own devices...of which...I have none (yet)

Awards you have received: Award of Arms, Order of the Dragon's Flame, Companion Order of the Argent Comet

Areas of expertise/types of classes you have taught/things you are learning now: Learning & practicing illumination & calligraphy; practicing rapier combat; soon to start practicing armored combat (again).  Interests: gamesmanship; service; court heraldry; medieval aviation

SCA Name: Katherine Cameron of Loddington (currently being considered for registration)

SCA Persona:  Scottish

Mundane Name: Angel Roberson

General mundane location: Glenwood

Years in the SCA: Little over 2

Device: No pics yet, but Archie says the blazon is:  per pale vert and Or, two thistles slipped and leaved and a chief embattled all counterchanged (also currently being considered for registration)

Awards you have received: NONE

Areas of expertise/types of classes you have taught/things you are learning now: I make homemade lye soap (not by period methods).  I want to learn how to make garb for the family

[Theodastria]

SCA Name:  Theodastria Loukianis (Thee-Oh-dast-tree-uh   Lew-key-ohn-us)

SCA Persona:  late 9th century Byzantine based in the Ankara area.  I'm a matron of a large family.  We own land on which we raise sheep for wool and meat, and grow almond trees.

Years in SCA:  7 or so years

Awards: two Award of Arms; an Argent Comet; and the Shire's Order of the Dragon's Flame.

Modern life:  Teresa Ervin from Jefferson County (Louisville), Georgia

Device: I have no device registered.  I may or may not get around to doing one.  It's not part of my persona.

Interests:  Pretty much everything although I focus on sewing and costuming.  I can cook well although I don't particularly enjoy it.  I like the eating part much more.  I like to do things at events.  I get bored sitting around.

Classes:  I have taught basic recorder, hat making, piping.

Ty Dianora, Good to be home, just trying to get settled where we can come to a few events, working on shields, got one wrapped and gripped but need a hilt for it, got 2 more in the works that need gripping, a hilt and wrapping, had to leave my Heater back in Idaho as it belonged to my brother in-law, left my big war shield there as well for the war band I fought with to use on the shield wall.
