Well, I sent in my reservation for RUM.  Anyone know what the lodging is like?  I'll be staying on site.

I was toying with going to Tourney of the Foxes.  What's the site like?  How's the lodging?

I'm not a big fan of the RUM site. It's isolated (nearest town is about 15=20 minutes--so it's not easy to run get  lunch etc.) Can't recall if the dorms have AC--I think they might--concrete bunkers with bunk beds. The hall has AC, but all the classes are being held outside in sunshades/pavilions. But so it goes...

I plan to be there to check on teachers in the AM, throw my dean's cloak at Dianora at court, and then flee for the hotel/pool/restaurant. I don't do heat.

Thanks.  It sounds kind of grim.

I'm going to blow off Tourney of the Foxes--too much to get done this weekend.

I did send in reservations for myself and Rachel to Fall Coronation.

I saw on the website that feast at Red Tower was sold out so I'm not going to that.  I'm going to the Baronial War practice in New Ellenton which is just east of Augusta in Atlantia.  It looks like a nice event.

I'll probably go to Danelaw although Rachel won't be coming.  She'll be leaving Indianapolis either Saturday or Sunday.  That's the week of the National Forestry Championship.  Jefferson County High is the State champion for Georgia.
