Mel Gibson is doing a movie on the Vikings, which will feature the Anglo Saxons: http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/andrewbrown/2010/jan/20/melgibson-sweden

Given his record on historical 'accuracy', the only thing I'm looking forward to is hearing Old Norse and Old English for a complete film.  That doesn't happen every day.  Or every half-century for that matter...
